PromoPicker Podcasting Directory is changing!

We are now called My Podcast Directory.

PromoPicker Podcast Directory was created right back at the beginning of podcasting in early 2005 and initially we had the idea of letting podcasters list more than just a link and a static description. We were going to link to their mp3 based promo\'s so potential listeners could hear a snippet of the show and get a feel for the podcast and the podcasters style, content and delivery. The idea was an immediate success.

Over the years since then there have been lots of features and more importantly information added to the directory and we have become both a way of finding new podcasts and useful resource of ways to contact your favourite podcasts with links to MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, listener phone lines and more.

So with that in mind we feel that we should change our name and make it slightly less geeky and more accessible, MyPodcastDirectory.com is born.

The world of podcasting has changed immensley since 2005 and our initial concept of what you wanted from a podcast directory and while we have a ton of new features in development for the site we would like to hear what kind of changes and features you would like to see on MyPodcastDirectory.com.

Let us know what you would like to see on the site or what you would like to see change, email us at help@mypodcastdirectory.com and let us know.

To sweeten the deal there will be some goodies for the best replies so dont keep it all to yourself, vent! :-)

Thanks for your support and please, spread the word, the more people that hear about us the more podcasts and the better the service to you.
